• Water based paints are continuing to improve. They dry faster and produce less odour (as they contain lower levels of 'VOC'*). This also means we can use less solvent cleaners after the job too - further reducing the impact on the environment.
• By choosing a water-based paint rather than a solvent-based paint will ensure that solvent emissions are minimised. This will help protect the air you breathe and reduce your carbon footprint.

Typically these are solvents that will evaporate into the air at room temperature and were traditionally used in paint to help the drying process.
